Check-In reception counters are built by putting together a desk (Easy Space or SQart) and front and/or side panels which are mounted to the desktop.
Front panels are available in several options:
– central panel (straight, cannot be assembled to a side panel),
– left panel (straight, can be assembled to a left side panel),
– right panel (straight, can be assembled to a right side panel),
– double-sided panel (straight, can be assembled to left and right side panels).
Front and side panels are made of 25 mm melamine double faced chipboard, class E1. On the front side the panels have three 18 mm thick upholstered pads placed at 18 mm intervals. Each pad is mounted with quick release fixings (located in four corners for panels with 1100 mm length and with one extra central fixing for panels longer than 1100 mm).
The pads have an important additional feature – they can be assembled and disassembled multiple times and exchanged freely without the assistance of service staff. Thumbtacks cannot be used on the front side of the upholstered pads. The front panel always comes with a 250 mm deep top made of 18mm melamine double faced chipboard.
Optionally, the front panel can have an upholstered pad from the user's side. The pad is made of 8mm soft fibreboard covered with upholstery. Front and side panels are joined with cam and dowel fixings at a 45 degrees angle. Front and side panels are joined with the desk on the inside, beneath the work top, with metal linking units. Reception counters can be levelled in the range of 10mm. The products are supplied in packaging for self-assembly.
