Reception counters are available as two types of units: straight and corner.
The counter supporting structure is made of 25 mm melamine double faced chipboard, class E1. The counter upper top and main top are made of 25 mm board, and edges are finished with 2 mm ABS edge banding.
The fronts of the straight units are made of 12 mm fine chipboard, while the corner units have fronts made of 3 mm high density fibreboard (the colour of HDF is always grey). Corner units are also available in laminates.
Counter fronts can be non-upholstered, or upholstered on one or both sides.
The front of the straight unit has a modesty panel which is always melamine-coated on the inside. In corner units, upholstering of the internal parts is not possible. The internal parts with upholstery cannot serve as a pinboard. The hard high density fibreboard or chipboard base makes it impossible to stick a drawing pin into the component.
Counter units are joined together with metal elements fitted on the bottom side of the main top to form one whole. In the high unit, the lower component of the counter is joined with the upper component with cam and dowel fixings which secure the upper component against uncontrolled sliding.
Reception counters can be levelled in the range of 10 mm.
Note! The HDF board used in the Velum reception counters is light grey on one side and dark grey on the other side. In the part of the article number that defines the colour of particular components, the HDF board is marked with the MS symbol; however, this does not mean that it accurately corresponds to the colour of the melamine board with the same MS symbol. The upholstery option is not available for the front elements of the laminated counters.
